Who am I?
Jordan is just a 19-year old guy with an entrepreneurial spirit. When he was 8 years old, he and his brother would go to Costco, buy candy in bulk, and then go around their apartment complex selling it to neighbors. Once summer came, all the candy melted and their business went bankrupt!
When Jordan was in middle school, he bought shocking pens, disappearing ink and shocking staplers off of eBay and started a business out of his locker. That business ended when a teacher sent him to the Principals office because one of the students squirted ink everywhere. Jordan’s merchandise was confiscated and he was banned form selling at school!
The first business he started was a pressure washing company when he was only 14 years old. He looks back at his marketing techniques and laughs. Somehow he was successful…but it still bewilders him how. Jordan ran that for 3 years every summer and used his profits to buy his first car, a 2003 Nissan Maxima GLE! (He still has it today).
The next business he was a part of he actually didn’t start but owned a quarter of it. Jordan joined a landscaping company at it’s early stages and helped grow the business from 23 weekly clients to 120. At it’s peak, he was managing 20 employees. The landscaping company is where he attributes the majority of his business experience as he was thrown into a position where he had to learn fast or else he’d crumble.
What is Jordan working on today? Currently, he works full time for Killer Shark Marketing and pursues his podcast, blog and community at TeenageEntrepreneur.org in his free time! Besides business and entrepreneurship, he is really passionate about Taido Karate, bowling, eating sushi and people. He loves meeting new people and building strong relationships.
